Tomiya City 1st anniversary Fireworks Project | Tomiya, Miyagi Japan
Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture, is a town with a long history where Tomiya-juku, which prospered as the 72nd post town on the Oshu Kaido during the Edo period, was located.
After that, it prospered as a commuter town on the northern suburbs of Sendai City, and on October 10, 2016, the city system was enforced independently without merging with neighboring cities, and it changed from Tomiya Town, Kurokawa District to Tomiya City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
The following year, on October 10, 2017, 1038 beautiful fireworks were launched around Tomiya Municipal Tomiya Elementary School to commemorate the event.
