This is a video of the Sendai Tanabata Matsuri held in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan for three days from August 6 to 8 every year.
The Sendai Tanabata Matsuri, which is one of the three major Tohoku summer festivals alongside the Aomori Nebuta Festival and the Akita Kanto Festival, is an event held in Sendai city center on August 7 which is the lunar calendar of July 7.
At the Sendai Tanabata Festival, the shopping district is decorated with seven types of decorations, which are called seven decorations, consisting of strips, paper clothing, paper cranes, drawstrings, cast nets, wastebaskets, and streamers.
The festival will also include package tours for group travelers, and will attract over 2 million tourists during the festival.
