On the north side of Sendai Airport in Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, there was Sendai Airport Rinku Park with athletic play equipment and observation deck.
Every weekend it was a park full of children and aviation fans. However, it collapsed due to the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, leaving only the ruins of the observation deck.
The surrounding area has been improved by the subsequent disaster prevention measures, and the observation deck has now disappeared.
A landing video of a passenger aircraft taken from an observation deck before being demolished is posted.
Asiana Airlines Airbus A321-200 HL7763
Asiana Airlines operates the Airbus A321-200 on scheduled international flights connecting Sendai Airport and Korea Incheon International Airport.
Formerly operated by medium-sized wide-body jets such as the Boeing 767-300, the number of passengers decreased due to the deterioration of Japan-Korea relations, and the aircraft gradually became smaller.
This was a great shooting spot where you could watch an airplane landing on the runway of Sendai Airport.
Currently, Kitakama Disaster Prevention Park on the east side of the airport has taken over its role.
