This is a video of the Maki Summer Festival Fireworks Festival held in Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture Japan on June 19, 2022.
The Maki Summer Festival, which is held in conjunction with the Maki Shrine (maki Shinmeigu shrine) Grand Festival, is the earliest summer festival held in Niigata City.
It was canceled for the second consecutive year due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection that continued from 2020, but in 2022, the scale was reduced from the usual three days to one day.
At this festival, in addition to events such as student brass band performances and dances, Mikoshi (portable shrines) and lanterns were held in the precincts of Maki Shrine.
On the evening of the same day, fireworks such as star mine and 12 inch shell Firework(Syakudama) were launched at the venue around Yagawa Fureai Park with the theme of Raise the signal of the resurrection.
