Kobe Luminarie, which is held in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture Japan, is the Christmas lights that are being held with enthusiasm of victims of the Hanshin-Awaji Great Earthquake victims that occurred in 1995 and hope for the reconstruction and revitalization of cities. Kobe Luminarie, which has been held every year since the Great Earthquake in 1995, celebrates its 20 th year and held the theme of “Kobe Dream and Light”. Considering the influence on the disaster area of the Great East Japan Earthquake, used an LED bulb as a part, but this year it was held back to the original incandescent light bulb.
