The Ina Festival, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2017, is a two-day event held in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture. On the first day, there will be an opening parade and a citizen’s dance, which will be held about 1.5km from Yamadera to Nishimachi, and a handmade andon will be lit up from 17:00 pm.
In addition, at the “Festival Square” along the parade course, there are “Sake Brewery Yokocho” where you can enjoy sake with snacks and yakitori sold by four breweries in Ina City, and stalls such as Yakisoba and Frankfurt.
In addition, fun events such as “DRAGON Yokocho” where 100-yen lottery and stage events are held, and “Roman Yokocho Yataimura” where street performances and stage performances by the Ina City Fire Department Music Corps are held are held in various places.
On the second day, the annual “Yuu ing Village” will be held, and the “Dance Stage”, “Street Performance Stage” and “Concert Stage” will be held in the open space around Ina City Hall.
Before the fireworks display starts, a “Toro nagashi” will be held in the murmuring waterway on the south side of Ina City Hall with a wish for peace.
