The Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition is held in autumn on the banks of the Sakuragawa River in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture Japan.Together with the Nagaoka Festival and Omagari Fireworks, it is considered one of the three major fireworks in Japan, and about 20,000 beautiful fireworks are launched every year on the first Saturday of October.
In the spring, beautiful pink cherry blossoms bloom on the embankment along the Sakuragawa River, and are crowded with a large number of cherry blossom visitors from local communities.
