This is an exhibition flight of Blue Impulse, which made a splendid aerobatics at the Matsushima Air Base Reconstruction Appreciation Event held at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Matsushima Air Base in Higashi Matsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan on August 28, 2016.
After the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake, the air festival at Matsushima Base was canceled.However, in 2016, the Blue Impulse exhibition flight of the aerobatics team using the T-4 training aircraft was held as a Matsushima Air Base Reconstruction Appreciation Event that was reduced in scale.
