February 12, 2017 Aone Onsen Yuki Akari held at the Jappo-no-Yu special venue in Aone Onsen, Kawasaki Town Miyagi Prefecture Japan. This is one of the few snow festivals in the Tohoku region that is held every February in Aone Onsenkyo, which is located at an altitude of 800 meters in the Zao mountain range. A fantastic light of candles illuminates in a snow lantern handmade by local residents and children.
