At Sendai Airport, which was unprecedentedly damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, a reconstruction support flight was conducted on October 30, 2011 by ANA All Nippon Airways.ANA flew with the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, a state-of-the-art airliner.From November 2011, ANA will launch the world’s first commercial flight with this aircraft.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, a sightseeing flight, landed at Sendai Airport around 10 am.This aircraft is the world’s first Boeing 787 to be handed over from Boeing, and only two aircraft, the JA801A and the second JA802A, have special paint with blue and white lines at the rear of the aircraft.
