This is the 85th All Japan National Fireworks Competition Omagari hanabi held on August 27, 2011 in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture Japan.Omagari Fireworks, one of Japan’s three major fireworks, is a competition that determines the best fireworks in Japan among pyrotechnist selected from all over Japan.
Each company competes by launching two 12 inch shells fireworks and a creation fireworks that originated from Omagari.
Special Star Mine fireworks with Niagara at the opening
The special star mine with Niagara is an opening fireworks that tells the opening of the All Japan National Fireworks Competition in tune with the Yume no Sora sung by Yu Tsukumo.
Between the competitions, special starmines provided by local companies and the like, and ize 7 shells 100 shots extra-large wide starmines will be launched.

Judges compete in artistic 12 inch shells fireworks and creation fireworks that express the form and rhythm according to the theme regardless of the round shape.

In commemoration of the Oshu Hiraizumi (Iwate Prefecture) world heritage registration, it is a magnificent fireworks that expresses the unique Buddhist philosophy contained in the temples and the Hiraizumi where Oshu Fujiwara flourished.It was a beautiful fireworks that also overlapped with the memorial service for those victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
