In the center of Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture, Hagi Castle Park is a park that has maintained the remains of Yamagata Castle, a contoured flat castle built by Kaneyori Shiba, who later became a military commander of the Period of North and South Dynasties and later named Kaneyori Mogami. Originally it was Heijo surrounded by moats and moats, with Honmaru, Ninomaru and Sannomaru arranged concentrically.
